Gotta lose some weight – Part 2

OK!  My Take Shape For Life weight loss products should arrive
this Friday.  I’m excited to get started.  The more I think about it,
the more determined I get to succeed at this.  Lori and I talked
yesterday about setting a goal for losing weight.  I set my goal at

30 pounds.  That would take me down to 200 pounds.  Lori ever so gently encouraged me to go for 40 pounds – 190.  I realized that 200 seemed improbable to me.  I think the last time I weighed 190 was when I was 35 and playing competitive tennis regularly and had no children!  190 would be a dream.  180 is probably the right weight, but I just didn’t want to set myself up for disappointment.  Gee whiz to lose 50 pounds is to lose our dog Hamlet.  He weighs 50 pounds.  Could I actually be carrying an entire standard poodle around on my back for all these years?

I’m considering taking "Before" pictures.
